Ferrari 430 Scuderia vs Porsche 911 GT2

@MikeB I'm going to disagree The GT2 may honestly be 2-3 seconds faster around some tracks than the scuderia. The porsche has more torque by a lot and some of these tracks require power low in the rev range for tight hairpins and we already know the porsche is about half a second faster to 100 km/h so it out powers the porsche through entire straights which is all it takes.

I didn't count the the Nordschleife because is Independent test vs Manufacturer claim, the Top Gear laptimes because they're standing starts and the wet and damp laptimes because they favor the Scuderia as the Corsas are faster in the wet.

I also didn't count a track were the Scuderia was 2s faster than the GT2 (Bedford) because the track had been recently changed and that affected the GT2 laptime negativly.

The balocco time is BS, of course the GT2 is 3s faster than the Scuderia (sarcasm) the Scuderia was tested in less than ideal conditions, in a very hot summer day.

The same can be said about the Jarama laptimes, You can see there is something wrong when you have 4 laptimes showing the 430 scuderia to be slightly faster and then 3 laptimes where the GT2 blows away the Scuderia by several seconds.

And further more, if we cut the whole GT2 out of the picture, the Scuderia will be much, much faster.

There you have it, GT2 is unexisting, actually.

If you cut the wet and damp times(4), the TG time (standing start) and the Nordschleife (mfr. vs IT) and add the Monticelo test by Axis of oversteer we get 8 track comparasions in were the Scuderia wins 5 vs 3.

If we cut the Bedford time because the difference is too big (2s) and probably the GT2 was tested in bad conditions we get a 4 vs 3.

Now we cut the Balocco laptimes becuase the 430 S was tested in a very hot day so we have 4 vs 2.

Then we have 2 tracks were the GT2 wins and you can see that in one of them (Jarama) the GT2 is 3 seconds faster... what? obvioulsy the Scuderia was tested on bad conditions.

At last we get than the GT2 is only faster in Hockenhein short, tested by Sport auto, 0.9% faster contradicting the other 4 test in were the 430 Scuderia is on average 0.5% faster.

So there you have it, the 430 Scuderia is 0.5% faster on track or 0.3s faster per minute, very close indeed.

Nordschleife and Balloco have a diferent situations. In Nords. a profissional driver for Porsche and a jornalist in Ferrari or amateur.In Balloco Lambo LP have 2:46 too, i think is a condition of track like a cold tires or a damp track.
