Wow! Just near Lambo LP560/Viper SRT-10 performance! In a 3800 lb luxury sedan! I call it bull...lol jk!

In fact this car was much cheaper (as-tested) AND it beat the 503hp AMG C63S (91.52s) & the 425hp BMW ///M3 (92.51s) in the test. Impressive, GM! Don't let the haters fool you.

Better to be "over the top", rather than look generic, uninspired and boring like everything else. No matter what angle you see it from, you will NEVER mistake a Cadillac for something else.

It may be a polarizing design, but that's what they need to stand out in the crowd. Especially since Cadillac is so focused on being the American BMW, that they're sacrificing the personality of their cars to make them the ultimate driving machines.

The back end especially when u look at a proper head level is quite ridiculous, and the front is a bit too over the top, look at me look.

It reminds me of how some Hondas are overly adding chrome to their fronts just cuz they saw Mercs doing it. It's too brash to the point a bit cheap looking.

I think the ATS looks great! It's sharp and edgy. The new C-Class looks great as well. I like the new rounded curvy look... The 3-series is kinda meh, doesn't look all that different from the e92...And the less said about the new Lexus the better...

I was just about to say that Lexus is an embarrassing exception to this positive trend lol

...Tell that to Lexus..

Its not. All the new 3-series segment cars are nice looking - the new Alfa, Jaguar XE, ATS, new C class.

They are all well proportioned and conservative in design. (in a good way).

Car designers can not afford to screw up when designing such important models for their manufacturers.

...You think its hideous?......

or the other way around THIS C63 has too many luxuries for a track performance test... Or is it the C63 is much more loaded than the C350?

I feel it's like a S8 vs S500 test. Certainly the Caddy is going to outperform the MB, but I was surprised at how close it is.

But nonetheless. That caddy is hideous in and out

I got to sit in a C350 2 days ago, A friends boss had lent him the car, The interior is nice, But its WAY over hyped, Its great, But its no where near this level these magazines seem to be putting it at, Atleast to me, Plus that sat nav would make me realy nervous.

"having much fewer luxuries", Ummm as in?... Following that kind of logic, I guess the M3 has the least amount of luxury equipment because it's lighter than both the V & AMG.
...ATS-V is the lighter, better handling, more driver-focused car because that was the goal right from the start. AMG's are moving that way bit-by-bit every year. But they still saturate their cars with luxury and amenities because that's their priority.
...I never understood why some people get soo defensive when it comes to car comparisons. We're not talking about an inferior-vs-superior car. We're talking about two performance-sedans with different approaches and priorities, that's all...

The Cadillac has the advantage in the corners because it's much lighter, having much fewer luxuries. That C63 interior is unbelievable. The Cadillac interior may have came straight from a Toyota

Great Head2Head... Interesting how close these cars lap-times are... ATS-V clearly has the advantage through the corners and braking, but that C63AMG closes the gap every time on the straights, very cool watching them side-by-side.
