Nothing about this thing is M5. All Alpinas are upgraded versions of mid-trim BMWs, just like AMGs were upgraded versions of mid-trim Benzes before 2005-08ish.

This is basically the much more reliable and practical M5 E60, lmao. I just checked, you can find some of these for around 30k which is a killer deal for such a car.

It is.

390 x 1,36 = 530,4

390 kw are not equal to 530 hp.

Anyone care to edit the performance times?

User avatar

FadeToBlack  16y ago

Well, they must be wrong, but hey, they declared 530 HP.

User avatar

FadeToBlack  16y ago

Alpina CLEARLY States 530 HP.

Max output (kW/hp) 390/530

It has 390kw/530PS. Please correct it. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpina_B5

The gearbox should have been Automatic, 6 gears, sorry.

Sorry, that might be wrong. SportAuto says:
0 - 100 : 4.8s;
0 - 160 : 9.7s;
0 - 200 : 14,7s

Although I think I have posted lower times for the Touring version, which I have also added. The times might not be the best.
