Beter than the full size Vantage in every way. Better bhp/tonne, better aerodynamics, better acceleration, lower weight. The best of the old school Astons.

These are a V8 vantage underneath but 10% lighter. Only 50 made, some of which have been sold for £500,000.
Anonymous, what do you mean by "nowhere near the performance"? I also love the SZ but it would get trounced by the Zagato.

The Alfa Romeo SZ looks very cool in real world(saw many of them in real world at car meetings), the design was way ahead it´s time, remember back in 1989 the Golf Mk II was in the middel of it´s production run, Opel was producing the ugly Kadett E, Ford was producing the Escort IV facelift that were the mass of cars driven in 1989 in Europe... showing up with a Alfa Romeo SZ during that time was one of the most cool things that could happen
