Audi S7 Sportback specs

0-100km/h is way off. What a lazy admin.

True they say 0-60mph rather than 0-100kph but the point is its faster than posted. I would rather have this than its competition and even some sports cars as it is a great all around daily driver.

...Considering MT doesn't quote 0-100Kph, 3.7s 0-60Mph has been achieved, along with a 12.2@114s 1/4 mile by MotorTrend, But still Performance number don't get updated fast, or even average time, but its here so.

MotorTrend tested the Audi S7 and got to 100kph in 3.7 sec your info is based off the estimate that Audi first gave

Audi RS7 comes same time, when the Audi RS6 Sedan comes. End of year 2013. Audi RS6 Avant comes earlier, but its going to be fast train, they all are.

Sure will. Have you heard if the RS7 is confirmed for production? If so should get to at least 3.7- sec for 0-100kph.

S7 nearly as fast as 2012 RS5. Amazing 0-62 mph for such a big car. That engine is impressive & aerodynamic shape will help.

Audi A9 will be released 2013 in Frankfurt carshow(IAA), so will see the Audi S9 one year after. Just like other Audi models. First comes A-series, and then comes S-series.
And Audi released only sportback and coupe-model for the A9, and S9 models. But will see.

I guess that Audi may introduce a luxury A9 Coupe to compete with such cars like Bentley Continental GT, or maybe even with the new Vanquish. But if they are really going to introduce A9 Coupe, they obviously will present also A9 Sportback to compete with such cars, which Eryk had listed - Panamera, Rapide...

BMW doesn't have anything like that, but Merc does (CL), so why not A8 coupe (aka A9)?

Why? Audi has a car in pretty much every range of Prices, from 14k to 200k, 4 door, 2 door, drop top, 5 door, suv etc, they already have a Big saloon car, the 6Series, now the 7Series smaller ones to, the 4Series.

I dont think Audi has the market to make another complete series, atleast not one thats bigger then the 8Series, They have pretty much got it covered, all they need know is a New 1Series and 2Series, and Maybe a COMPLETELY different kind o car called the 0Series.

not to mention the price of the 9Series, what the A9 base price being 95k?...-_- They have already got Competition from Bmw and Mercedes in all the Categorys, what would a bigger Saloon car be gutted towards?

No A9 Saloon should be, a Big A9 Coupe on the other hands...

I think in 3-4 years you will see the spyshots S9 :)

As does everything, a 9Series isnt happening, atleast not in the next 10 years..

And if Audi S8 has now 520 ps, so i think the Audi S9 has 550-600 ps. And it will use 4.0 T engine. Only speculation :D

@BR2, S9 will be for very rich people. Audi has a little more ambitious than any other premium brand.

In my opinion the A9 would be a great idea, but only as a coupe version of the A8 (like A5 -> A4) to compete with Mercedes's CL class.

I hope they dont make a 9Series, A9, S9, RS9, those prices would be Huge, the Bhp would be too much, Audi has already got a good range, although i would like to see a 2Series and a 0Series, to fit the line up, A2/S2/RS2, A0/S0/RS0, for the more affordable persons, and more coupes would be nice, i feel the world has too many Saloons as it is.

Actually five years ago I had any sympathy to Audi, but now I'm becoming their fan!

@Mental A9/S9 is likely to be 2 and 4 door coupe with probably V8-V12 engines competitor for the Aston Martin Rapide, Maserati Quattroporte and Porsche Panamera. R4/R5 is kinda baby R8.
