Bowler EXR S specs

it depends on what your looking for, if you are looking for a fast SUV the cayenne is the one for you, if you want to go offroad the G-class (althogh the AMG is not exactly an offroader...still it can be built to become one)

Most people deciding whether they should get a cayenne or a G class (if thats a temporary family issue ) wont give a fukk about its performance stats or particularly track times. As sad as it sounds they go to a dealer and order one , normally brand new including all those options they need or dont need. Point is I live around Geneva (Switzerland ) area where Porsche's of all kind are more common than vw or any other hatchback. Sort of like dodge and chevys in the US. S that loaded dude doesnt wanna drive through town with seeing same fukkin car he paid almost 200 grand for several times. He wont go to nurnburg ring with it neither drag race his neighbor before going to office. So the more special alternative is a G65 and i fully agree with that persons choice. If you wanna stick out go for the less reasonable and more absurd option.

If I had a chance to buy some premium sporty off-roader, I'd have to choose between Cayenne and G-Wagen, I love both of them. But Cayenne is just soooo ordinary and common, it is just a Volks-Wagen for rich dudes, so I'd take the Gelandewagen to be unique, Benz is so brutal! :D

But those two are still not my favorites. My favorite SUV is Mega Track. Ah, soo pity, only five of them (or around that amount) were produced and sold with a huge price list...

@ Fangio Man: It does, doesn't it?, another reason I prefer the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is because it's the world's fastest SUV.

The reason I would prefer the Porsche, is because the Bowler looks like a Land Rover on steroids. :D

G-Class, are ugly as sin, i dont understand why anybody would consider one, SPECIALLY when a Cayeen costs about the same, and looks way better, Unless your Russian and got a cocain habit, i wouldnt buy one.

Talking about performance aspect, Bowler would beat Benz. And probably Bowler is more an off-roader.

But I don't want the elimination of the G-Klasse production. It has become iconic and classic. And I'd wonder if it wouldn't get big sales even in future.

The G-Class is a 30years or older design ...the only reason why Mercedes still buld them is the military use world wide in 20 Armys... it was called dead many times but because of its military success Mercedes holds it in production...latest news 2012 Mercedes signed a contarct with Magna group (who build them) till 2020...so most likely the G-Class will survive the next 7years..

Ok, back to cars. Anyone think this is a match for a merc g class AMG, roughly same power/ top speed, but the AMG is more optimised for the road. What do people think?

This is FastestLAPS.Com, Not FastestCARS.Com, And everyday this site is being mauled with rendom cars that will never have a lap, or even be tested i anyway, more then 60% of the cars here dont have laps, But, IMO, EVERY car WITHOUT a LAPtime should be deleted, But, since its not my site, nor my rules, i dont have a say in the matter, just My Opinion here.

Ok so they can be deleted but not by some random person so that's not so bad but all were road legal and not modified. Also off roaders like the land rover defender/ lr4 are put on this site.

this side is about race track perfromance.. Unimog etc will never get a laptime so no need for them to be in database, next to that they have no historical worth like old musclecars or other old sporty cars

I've found something. It's called the Rally Fighter and from the USA, less powerful/ slower. But gives a good go at rivalling the bowler.fastestlaps.com/models/local-motors-rally-fighter

Nothing stock, I don't think. But the 600hp version of Hennessey's F-150 "Velociraptor" might give the Bowler a run for its money. But, due to an over 2000lb weight advantage, the EXR S will probably be faster from a standstill and have better handling. It looks like it would have better aerodynamics than a Raptor as well, so it likely has a higher top-end, too.

Yeah, beyond some ridiculous one-off specialty vehicle or a Baja 1000 Trophy truck, I don't think there's much out there that could compete with this thing offroad.
