This car was FWD and it received 295 hp engine only in 1993.

Looks really clean cut, but kind of dull, great power, though, 295 horsepower is plenty of grunt for the Allante.

I like this car! It looks great! Clear and beautiful lines, not like today's Cadillacs. No doubt - the best Caddy ever made! And the engine is pretty good for 1993 (I'm wrong - the model year for the car with Northstar V8 295 hp is 1993, before there was a much boring engine in 200 hp). A great predecessor of XLR, but the XLR was just a fail. I wish to see Allante reborned.

It's too bad the Northstar engines have proven to be incredibly unreliable versus the L26 (4.9L) engines used prior.

I'm a lil late to this discussion but the Northstar was a beautiful engine. Ahead of it's time in general but REALLY ahead for Cadillac! Shame something like headbolt length gave it such a bad rap. GM could have nipped it in the bud but as is the norm in Detroit. They dropped the ball. Northstar should have been a market changing motor.
