488 Spider competition

Ferrari 488 coupe and 675 LT are close in roll drag race :
The most important thing is that 488 in launch control mode revs higher and has better acceleration above 100 km/h than during "normal" acceleration so either Spider is significantly slower than coupe or something was wrong with that run...

TheSUPERCARDRIVER Drag Race (Audi RS6 vs GTR vs Porche 991.2 vs 570S vs 488 Spider vs 675LT):
I can understand that it was the 488 Spider and not the coupe (which is said to be ~50 KG lighter than the Spider) but the performance it showed here was, what you expect from Ferrari these days...underperforming.

At long last there is a 488 that has been V-boxed. Its a Spider.
This car is claimed to do 100-200 km/h in 5,7s. The stock car has done 100-200 km/h in 6,2s which is a decent result. Still worse than factory claim.
After modifiactions car has done 100-200 km/h in 5,2s which is an incredible result.
Its a pity that F-cars have to be tuned to keep up with competitors in terms of straight line acceleration.
The good thing is that F-cars are good in other aspects of supercars.

Any 80-100 km/h timing below 0.8s means there should only be a 0.1s gap between 60 mph and 100 km/h. This does 80-100 in 0.6s!!

we can all see that Ferrari cant make cars that are fast in straight line
Well.... this thing is faster than McLaren F1, so everything is relative :D

11,1s and 127 mp/h is a result that is below ANY standard in this car's price and performance segment. But we can all see that Ferrari cant make cars that are fast in straight line. Thats all. The most important is that F-cars are good at tracks and they are exciting to drive and to look :).
