Ford Mustang SVT Cobra specs

so cool i cant ford one but i want one ya my dad has one and i drive fast right guys

The actual top speed is 160 mph

Also I have had my 99 well over 145 mph. That's a joke rite.

The front bumper and hood are actually unique on the 99 and 01 cobra. They are the 2000 cobra R bumper with the lip removed.the hood is a small reverse scoop. The rear bumper and side scoops of the 99 were the same as the gt. In 01 the cobra received a rear bumper with cobra on it and larger side vents. They also moved the fog light and convertible top toggles in front of the shifter. The brakes on all cobra mustangs 96-04 are the same. The 99 had the t-45 transmission the 01 had the tko3650 and the 03-04 had the t-56 6 speed. The only other difference is that the 99 came with gt style seats. They didn't start making the two tone suade seats until 01.

They're a real blast.
.86 G's isn't bad for tiny cruddy tires either (245 BFG comps all around).

This one is really nice. For that period it's like Boss 302 nowadays

BTW, that picture might not be that of a 99 cobra, and isn't accurate for a STOCK 99 cobra. That could be a 99 cobra, but if it is, then the front bumper and hood have been swapped for 03-04 parts. The 99 and 01 cobra have the same front bumper as a new edge mustang GT. The 03-04 bumpers and hood swap is very common though because it looks ten times better (IMO).

• Same IRS
• Different exterior pieces

The 99 cobra has the specs listed first where different.
A lot of little things like brakes are the same if I remember correctly.

So, basically, what are the differences between this and the 390 hp 2004 model?
