Try a British Daimler Majestic 4.5 litre V8 on the same engine bearers that reside on the Triumph frame when used as the basis of the ugly 1959 Daimler SP250. That would be suitably vintage era and suitably British and suitably rapid! Then get Kurtis Kraft badge for the bonnet!

180hp doesnt do any justice but addding to much power wont be good especially being front engined and the tires dont seem wide at all.
