Just bought one a few weeks ago. It isn't fast from a stop whatsoever but it is fast at the top of the gears. Needs quite a bit of work but it's running so that's a start

It has long gears because of 149 MPH top. A high stall converter could help a lot but with it the rest of the fuel economy is gone. My slant six Dodge does 1/4 mile better than stock XJ-S V12 Jag.
