Performance wise this car is impressive. Style wise, I don\'t know. I definately see the grill as an homage to the Series 1 XJ-6 of 1968 vintage, however the rest of the car is an Ian Callum creation that will have to be pondered over for awhile to decide if one likes it. I guess that is the price one pays for seeking an original new design without using many familiar themes from the past. At this point, I still prefer the classic Jaguar lines with long sleek cat-like elegance. I will have to take a long look at one of these in person, I have only seen one or two traveling at highway speed (fast and brief glimpse).

This car exterior is brilliant! Fantastic beauty!
Previous XJ appearance and style are not even close to this car.
