it was the slowest in the Autozeitung test... second highest service costs(higher as for the BMW 118i! only toped by the Mercedes CLC) and needs twice as much service stops than the VW Scirocco in the same test... which needs service every 30,000km or 24month compared to the Cee´d which needs every 15,000km or 12 months a service...next to that it has a 10% higher worth drop in 4 years as the average car in the class... making it in the long run..EXPANSIVE... the money you safe while buying it, you pay while owning it..
