@Super8
I do not know.

But Lotec was a racing team in the Formel V in their earlier years.

User avatar

Super8  12y ago

Umm.. Is there any history why this company named Lotec? I mean... it sounded like food name.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

Was it ever tested?

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

The Lotec Sirius is an awesome car, 1183 horsepower and 249 MPH top speed, again, a 6.0 liter Biturbo V12 AMG engine from Mercedes Benz.

I have to add:
Only on order.

Still in production? For 13 years? Amazing... I love this car! It is awesome! Its name should be Serious! Looks so impressive. And the engine is just mad! And it looks like it is equipped with manual gearbox. I bet this car is an unforgettable driving experience, must be so fun to drive!

Year of introduction: 2000
It is still in production.

Reminds me of a Vector M12. Much cooler looking than the Ultimate Aero IMO.

User avatar

haydn  14y ago

User avatar

Georg  16y ago

price is only claimed if asked... in 2000 as this car was presented it was belived to be around ~600,000Euros

User avatar

BumRush  16y ago

Anybody got a price?

User avatar

BumRush  16y ago

Its a good looking car no doubt, but a Beauty? Nah. and you dont have to have 4wd and ovver 1000bhp to handle great.

User avatar

chevy47  16y ago

2 wheel drive & 1183 rhp Yehh! must handle like a dream!

User avatar

E  16y ago

Even though you have no reason to? Need for Speed must be too popular. Car designers don't have to balance a handling bar with a speed bar. Fast and agile is very possible.

User avatar

chevy47  16y ago

i dought it can handle.

11 comments on this German beauty, but if it was a Porsche the would probably be 300 comments. Is it not interesting why they did not go with AWD???

User avatar

Fil  16y ago

This is the best supercar I've ever seen in my life. It's real name is fo sure ''Super-Exotic''.

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

you mean it weighs alot more, plus the nissan has 4wd, so iy wil get the jump outta a standing start, and all thi power this car has. taillighs and rwd and no aid it will be difficult to do a really god standing start, youll just spin ya wheels. but after 60mph, all youll see is this things tail lights.

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

Amazing how the nissan GTR has half the power and could still beat it to 100km!!! And the GTR weighs alot less!!

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

Love the design, original and proportioned. Personally I think sound and reliability is more important than power at this point.

User avatar

Georg  17y ago

who cares?

User avatar

Me of course  17y ago

Stands no chance against the Aero TT.

User avatar

Chriss44  17y ago

COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

User avatar

Heyhuub  17y ago

Last time i saw a road test of a Lingenfelter, it broke down when they gave it the beans.

User avatar

CorvettesRule  17y ago

New Lingenfelter Corvette has over 1500 HP and has an estimated top speed of 300 mph!!!!!!!! Corvettes do rule.

User avatar

rice  17y ago

personally 1183 is a little too much bhp for this car, ide rather have 850. in my opinion

I have corrected the Lotec data, information from one German and one english TC report about the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WfvnUnUn8I&feature=related

the numbers are for maximum boost, output range from 1000-1200hp depending on boost setting
