The article says it trapped 115 mph in the 1/4-mile, but (keeping the 11.8s time from 0-100) best be assured that this is a typo.

No one seemed to update the other page, oh, the article has Laguna Seca laptimes, but they seem too fast, I guess it was a different configuration in '84.
Edit: Yes it was a different configuration, it was 1.9 miles, basicaly the actual track minus turns 3 and 4 with a straight replacing them between actual turns 2 and 5.
