the 906 was the last fully street legal race car offered by Porsche, after the 906 they only offered race cars or street cars.
The long rear version of the 906 reached at LeMans a topspeed of 280km/h (175mph) which is pretty good for a n/a 2,0l engine taken into account that was 1966.
Saw one in person on public road two years ago... amazing sound for a 2.0l engine..
