motortrend keeps going on about how BMW and Porsche turbo cars have lag and that other journalists are wrong. Well I think it may be due to them choosing stick shift versions. Every time you change gear you need to completely lift off, hence, loss of turbos. I'm guessing the DCT cars don't have this problem
