What are you talking about, at this time (Oct 2012), you can't find a second hand VW Passat 3.6 ltr 2008 model under $33K on Carsales right now.
By the way they are quick with 220KW. I like the Coupe model made in 2009.

Too bad that the base price of this car is OVER 30,000.
If it was 1000 cheaper, then it would be the fastest MIDSIZE sedan under 30K. That honor goes to the VW Passat 3.6 SEL with a 14.2 1/4 mile @100.9 mph. The baseprice of the Passat is just under 30k.
The Legacy GT is in the over 30k Midsize Sedan category where there are many cars much faster than the Legacy GT.
