So little info for this car which is fairly surprising, due to how many I see on the road on the regular.

It's actually not that bad. It's at least stronger than its precedessor (269 PS and 331 Nm) unlike the STi.
This car has a NEW engine, not the old one from its precedessor. It puts more torque on the wheels than the STi's old engine!

Some performance stats for this car:

0-60 mph - 4.8 sec;
0-100 mph - 13.1 sec;
1/4 mile - 13.6 @ 102;

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2015-subaru-wrx-sedan-manual-test-review-the-wrx-is-confident-and-stable-page-2

These numbers are actually not bad! Almost as fast as the outgoing WRX STI. But still not fast enough.. and can't get over the boring look and rather disappointing laptime (despite reviews claim the handling and control to be significantly improved)...

... and it doesn't even sound as good as before. Pretty lame, actually...

And please, add some data:

Engine type - Turbo Boxer-4, 16 valves;
Curb weight - 1506 kg;
Home country - Japan.

Looks better than any other Subaru but still looks... meh. Boring and typical japanese looks.
But it's not a big deal, technically it's even worse. Nothing change from the 90'. Still this silly CVT gearbox, still low power from that old engine, still this ordinary AWD so it will be understeer like other WRXes. This car sucks..

IS it even lighter???

Its got a small tail spoiler...

I LOVE Tail spoiler specially if there painted black with the cars trim, like a StingRay or M3.

I think we need a spoiler in the back. It doesn't feel like WRX if it doesn't have spoiler.

...Well, Atleast its not no bullshite hatchback, Horrid decision on Subarus part, the full on saloon version was 100times better.

This new one is questionable to me, This new ones interior ALREADY seems outdated, ANd I don't complain about interiors much if at all.

But they should have used a 300Bp 2.5L F4, Tired of them sticking with the same damned power for the last 15 years..

What a disappointment... I mean: WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!... I was waiting so much for the new WRX, expecting it to be revolutionary, based on the 2012 concept.. but finally as a result we've got an identical 2009 WRX with slight improvement...

When the awesome conceptual version was shown, I was hoping for the same aggressive muscle rally-fighter in a production form... But what I can see is just a Corolla with a hood scoop... So bland, so regular, no slightest hint (except the scoop) on the sport or rally orientation of the car! Wheels are so small, if I didn't know, I'd tell that's the basic Impreza... Absolutely unimpressive design compared to the concept and competitors!

And moreover! No power bump? Absolutely identical output with the predecessor? That's pathetic... Hopefully, at least 20 Nm more and improved transmission. That lets the WRX accelerate to 100 kph in 0.1 sec faster than the previous one... What an evolution...wow...

Hopefully, the Impreza name is dropped at last.

I really was expecting the new WRX to look alike with the concept, and being a proper performance tool outputting 300+ PS and 400+ Nm with the overall diet. Then the WRX would be cool.

I just hope the upcoming WRX STI not to be so much "evolutionary"!

Hope it still has the heck of the concept:

I like the new look. It's way better than the hatchback version...

Finally they upgraded legendary WRX. It looks 2 times better outside and 4 times better inside.

But the ke question is; how muh for it?
Subaru Impreza WRX was a long time top chose sport performancee car fo the money with AWD.

It seems like it will be almost The old STi level of speed. DEspite the old engine. This is good motor.

The STi will be upgraded also inside and outside, and this can might be again ultimate machine. We will see.
