In America, we have the compact Jetta, mid-size Passat, and full size CC.

@Fangio Man: In south africa, we have Jetta, Passat and CC all three look alike but the jetta is bit small.

@ Fangio Man: I'm not a big fan of Honda/Acura, but I do love how their inline 4s sound. What you know as a Honda NSX we Americans know as an Acura NSX.

@Shaggy
Acura/Honda is one of a few cases I have appreciation for. :P

The car you know as a Chevrolet Lacetti looks like the Chevrolet Cobalt sedan that was sold in the U.S. The Holden HSV/Vauxhall Monaro is sold in America as a Chevrolet Caprice, and only the police use them.

And "VW Bora" was sold as "Jetta" in South Africa. Damn, that is irritating!

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

@ Fangio Man: And the car we know as the Volkswagen Passat in America you know as the Volkswagen Bora in Europe.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

@Shaggy
Same case, with another car, here in Germany: The Nissan Silvia S14 is called 200SX here.

VW Jetta was sold as Vento in Europe.

It's not named the Suzuki Liana in the U.S., here, I think it's called the Swift.

User avatar

Super8  12y ago

It named Suzuki Liana in Europe and US. I think Baleno name is only given for South East Asia market only

Shaggy  12y ago

It is light, only 2079 LBS.

Fangio Man  12y ago

I never heard of this car.

But it is quite light!

BTW the Vette z06 redline it's 7000 rpm, so i don't what r u talking about(el vette lega a 7000 rpm, así que no veo cual es tú punto)

@Alex
Yes, it should be a decent car, it's build in japan, it's parts are not difficult to find, and not that expensive. But, talk about 6500 rpm as it's something aweosome, it's stupid.Most street cars has it's redline at that limit, and it's huge difference between rotate a 1.6 that 7.0 or 6.2 that the vette has. The Corvette it's not "supposedly" powerfull. It's a fact.
