This car weights about 1050 kilograms, anyway much more than 955. So little weight could have only the previous specificate (ignis).

More and more "Japanese" cars are designed in Europe or the US these days. The Swift was specifically designed for Europe, probably by a European, and possibly even in Europe. Also around 60% of this car, possibly even more will be manufactured in and around Hungary, where the car is built. Admittedly, Suzuki is mostly a Japanese company however.

Yes it is very European car and it is probably assembled in Europe but it is most likely to be designed and also partly built in Japan. Because, as we all know, Suzuki is a Japanese motor company.
