@MoRpH the edition30 doesn't have a limited slip differential!!!

Yep,me too,as I own an Edition 30, & there's no way that a standard GTI Mk.6 even gets close to me (OK,I've remapped to 250 Bhp too),giving a 0-100 mph of 13.8 secs, & 0-60 mph in 6.0 secs.. this is without DSG btw. The Edition will out pace a stock GTi,has a way better ltd slip diff - it's what the stock GTi should of had as standard. The only thing one a stock GTi is that the brakes need to be much more progressive,as brake fade occurs way to fast.. thus I went for Red Stuff pads,& ventilated turbo groove discs (x 4)

georg,i think to the gearbox(relation) are the problem...Note the top Speeds...

Gallardo & Gallardo SE,Exige S & 240,997 GT3 & GT3 RS have a some doubt

Conditions maybe? On Hockenheim the standard GTI was also faster.

That autozeitung laptime puzzels me a little bit... the GTI Edition 30 with more power as the standart GTI is 1.5s slower as the 200hp GTI at the same track same carweight same tires used...there is something wrong. The Seat Leon Cupra R reached in the same test with 1:47.6min exactly the same time as the standart GTI...
