A little disappointed in this time

He said it would probably break 1:29 with a racing driver.

How so?

The 720s would be faster and so would the P1 if it had racing drivers too

the 720s would already be much faster if had decent Trofeo Rs on it as the Senna did (which btw you can now order at Mclaren as first spec) ...

Thats something that can be used when talking about all cars, Damn near every car would be faster with Trofeos, A moot point, You people act like the 720S runs on winter snow tyres, Yet it has some of the best and most grippy tyres you can get on a road legal car..

But it was kinda obvious Mclaren weren’t going to send the 2 cars without giving an advantage for the Senna. Imagine they switch the tires around and the 720s was faster...

Its day and night on the track ... especially bc the Senna and 720s share most of the basic layout components ... secondly you can now order 720s with Trofeo Rs as a factory option (which makes such tests even more questionable) ...

the 720s would be much closer to the Senna on same tires ... I would expect it to be within one second or slightly above ... Matt Saunders did not really push the Senna too hard as he admits himself so there is more in it too (and certainly knows the 720s better)

Well ... its the difference in tires we don't know... its not even clear if the 720s is on Corsas or regular P Zeros ... that blue one is the press car they use all over and I doubt they put new tires on it every time they lend it to a magazine ...
