I forgot to add that the car was on Pilot Sport Cup semi-slicks. :)

the MP4 C12 Spider is as much Targa as the Carrera GT.... both have fix roll bars behind the seat...the "removable Targa top on the Carrera GT is moved by hand at the MP4 electric powered the B Pillar roll cage is fixed and always up... only the cover around it moves up if the Targa roof is moved
nice picture of Stig, the roof of the MP4 C12 Spider sits between A and B Pilar as u can clearly see here... that makes it a true Targa..

Well, I honestly cannot count Radicals as "Convertibles". Those are basically race cars for roads, they're completely different to term "Convertible/Cabrio/Spyder" people mostly associate. Radicals don't have any type of roof. And Carrera GT, as already stated, is a targa body - half-coupe, half-spyder.
So yes, I consider this Corvette as the second fastest cabriolet at the Ring.

..Well, Radicals are pure Open top cars, while the Carrera is a Targa(Removable Roof), If you want a true Convertible, the 427 is the 2nd fastest only behind the MP4, So yes it is, and no its not, depends on how you look at it, prolly nit picking though.
But for what is has and its price, theres no other open top car on that list that's more impressive.

It is almost as fast as the 140.000 $ more expensive 458, yeah, that is impressive. ZR1 did a similar feat.
Corvettes are really worth the money!
