I bet if you were to compare lap times side-by-side you'd see the Z/28 lose ground on the main front straight, and the up-hill section leading up to the corkscrew.
We all know this thing handles incredibly well, but it's still let down by it's weight...

For all its efforts the Z28's mass still let's it down. Otherwise it handled great. Similar setup on a corvette would be incredible.

Expected it to be a good deal faster then the Stingray, Kind intriguing when Car&Driver do there Lightning Lap and you notice quite the difference in the laptimes, The track is double the length with more tight turns n what not, But still intriguing.
