I meant 2 - 3 second. Motor trend in a recent test show Viper TA lapping in 1.33 with corsa tires and 1.30 with slick tires. So i thought 2 - 3 seconds are the right gap. The real point is: honda is a race bike, McLaren is a stock car. We have to keep in mind that superbike is a monster. It could do 0-200 in less than 6 seconds and it could lap, for example, Misano circuit in 1.35 - 1.36. I stock bike with a professional driver and corsa tires lap the same circuit in 1.42,7 (BMW HP 4). Another example: stock Bmw hp 4 in Mireval circuit lap in 1.27.7 while MP 4 in 1.30.7. So it's difficult for car even when we face stock bike. It depend on the circuit.

The correct time for McLaren is 1.17.2, but in the article they report even 1.16.9. This is the time with professional driver. It's just impossible for MP 4 stay with a superbike like that with british champion. With slick tires it could gain about 2 - seconds, so 1.14.5. I think a stock bike like BMW S 1000 could be just as fast or little faster, but superbike is in another legue. They need MP 4 GT 3 to compare with.
