A buddy of mine drove 100 miles to Laguna and did a 131.6 then drove back home.

The difference in times , Dodge took there team there and had more time to make attempts, Not too mention that Randy Already said that when he ran the slower time there was a race event, I think featuring bikes, Not sure, And the track was more slippery, Aka worse conditions.

Well, Randy also did a 1:30.7 i thinkg against the Vette Z06 and the GT3 RS. So it's 1:31.5 it's not the official time either. For sure Dodge spent more than a couple of days testing the car before setting those laptimes.

This 1:31.580 is Randy Pobst official hot lap time, see:

The 1st place rank (1:28.65) with the Dodge Viper ACR, from Dodge is questionable. Sorry, the day I put my trust in a brand's editorial video... So many undocumented factors could have influenced that time from more bhp to bad timing... that run is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXP3Eij2GGA
Make up your own mind.
