Couple things...

1: I dont think the result is disappointing for any SuperCar, Its practially the same as the AMG GTS which isnt a slow car.

2:

Everybody loves and respects Ferra

ri

......Might want to change your words on that one...

3:

why they should not be
...Why should anyone be?..

4: Its a 18m slalom test, its not even the smallest of deals, If it lost to a GT 5.0 in the quarter then sure that may be a big deal, And disappointing, But if one actually ones a 488 or any Ferrari, Would anyone actually care?...I think people these days are just expecting, And wanting just way too much, Even for expensive cars, Well maybe im just to plain and like the simple things,

no conspiracy of german media against ferrari? where have you been living in the last, say, 2 decades? Merryville? sportauto, von saurma, automotorundsport, autobild etc, anyone?
they are literally obsessed over ferrari. why they should not be, anyways? Ferrari is not a german brand, isn't it? moreover, germans widely consider italians mere pizza, pasta eater, mandolin player (not far off the reality nowadays, indeed), thus they are not lusting over getting regularly whaled, at what they think to be best in the world, by an italian "pizza, pasta, giacomo" maker. I remember the derogatory words Opel worker unions released when they were being offered to be bought by FCA.

Ferrari's policy in not lending their cars to test happened **PRECISELY ** for this reason (not only germans like to play tricks with ferrari by the way). too late, too few.

This result is so bad that i think that 488 can do that better.

Slalom test is not irrelevant. I think its more relevant than skidpad.

And I don't think there is a German media conspiracy against Ferrari. Everybody loves and respects Ferrari. I only don't like them when they pull some bull**it like preventing their customers from participating in comparison tests against rival supercars.

18m slalom? lol, what the hell is that? arguing here about a bunch of germans dodging parking cones with a ferrari? rotfl... germans magazines would do absolutely anything to show ferraris are bad cars. next up, they are going to measure car's hair length... they probably have no perception how ridiculous they are...

Even if people expects more from the newest cars, this result is dissapointing for any SuperCar.

Same with the prices manufacturers are expecting to charge on their customers.

I dont think thats an issue or a dissapointment, I think in todays world, People are expecting WAY more out of cars then it really calls for

This just shows (again) that 488 has some issues :)

The last Speciale spanked a GT3 in the slalom. It's a mid-engined light-weight supercar, it should be more nimble than a front-engined sports coupe that seats 5 people.

How so?

Oh wow that's quite disappointing.
