Driver and conditions, Along with settings and load can make a difference, Or some kind of problem, I think one of the biggest problem people dont know, Is how much easy or harder one car is to drive from another, If you have a performance car that is extremely easy to drive fast, Your gonna make a fast lap, More likely then a performance car that is extremely hard to drive fast, Thats a good reason why the first gen R35 was making such fast laps, Because it was so easy to drive and push to the limits, And McLarens at the limit arent the easiest things to sort out, But at the same time one persons limits is anothers beginnings, So there can be a bunch of reasons why it was slower.

Strange. Maybe driver factor. Weight difference between coupe 675 and spider is less than 50 kg and both are as rigid since these cars use carbon main structure. So 675 Spider should be faster than 650S coupe.
