I think the problem is that everyone keeps comparing MoPar "boats" to Camaros and Mustangs
they seem to be competitors on paper but in reality the Camaro V8/CT4-V Blackwing, Mustang V8, M3/M4, C63 AMG and etc are all grand touring sports cars
the Hellcat is a tried-and-true muscle car (as with the CT5-V Blackwing), and had it not been for the AWD system the M5 and E63 would also be considered muscle
the Hellcat is NOT a slow car on the track when compared to the RS5, RS6, RS7, S8, Panamera Turbo (non-S), Flying Spur, M5 (non-Competition), M850i (not M8), E63S AMG, GT53 (not 63 or 63S) AMG, and it will absolutely beat a Maserati Ghibli or Quattroporte Trofeo
Contrary to popular belief, VERY FEW sedans its own size (120" wheelbase + 200-201" length + 4500-4600lb curb weight = either large midsize or small fullsize) can beat a Hellcat sedan, let alone a Hellcat coupe (116", 198", 4400-4500lb).
Pretty much JUST the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and Tesla Model S Plaid, and the limited-edition hyper-track-day specials (BMW M5 CS and Lucid Air Sapphire) are faster.
