73 Biggest bang per buck - Nissan GT-R or Corvette C6 Z06?

in this case it depends what you're looking for. if you want the car to take you for a drive (a slightly faster track drive) get a gt-r. if you want to take the car for a drive and win on the autobahn/highway get a z06. really depends who you are and what you're gonna use them for.

"R34", the ZO6 didn't get destroyed by s@#t. If you believe that the GT-R is going anywhere near those posted times without modifications than your dillusional. When the GT-R first hit the market it was pulling 7:55 at the 'Ring than some how without modifications the time dropped from that number to 7:38 than to 7:29 and now 7:26.7????All supposedly with the same stock tires, suspension, chassis and brakes????? That is nearly 30seconds per lap faster, don't think so.

The GTR is more expensive to own. The market is showing the GTR to hold its value. The Z06 depreciation is high.
AWD is great but do you need it and what is the cost for R&M.

Pound for Pound the ZO6 is a better sports car but the GTR is a everyday driver

The "Godzilla" GTR ofcourse! See it's very obvious why muscle car and euro snob fanatics are damn to insecure w/ the Nissan... tsk tsk.

But dont get me wrong coz I drive a Porsche 991 GT3 myself, but when I got my hands onto the Nissan GT-R... simply wow. Now I understand why the JDM king has all these motorsports heritage under its belt.

its not which one is the biggest bang for the buck, its which on is YOUR biggest bang for YOU buck, each person has diferent needs. but personally if ur gonna say which is the biggest bang for the buck, its simple... its the......
Factory Five Racing GTM LS7, 505bhp from the ZO6 engine, but revs higher, and is 1500lbs Lighter than the GT-R!!! and does a 10.9@134mph 1/4 mile, and handles better than the ZO6 and is more exclusive, did i mention it costs less than the ZO6? only $60,000/GB40,000!!!!

The GT-R is NOT more bang for your buck. Z06 is nearly as fast on a track but still much more fun on a track. The Z06 smokes GT-R in straight line, something that will be used much more in your normal life. Performance isn't the whole thing. The Z06 is very comfortable. The GT-R has 2 extra seats THAT NO ONE CAN FIT IN. Who needs a huge trunk in your sports car? And AWD has never helped me in the snow. In is a pussy safety devise.

Anyone who thinks the Z06 is more of a bang for your buck car than the GT-R is just rediculous. The GTR smokes the Z06 on a track, and the Z06 is a few miles per hour faster in a straight line. You have to realize performance isn't the full bang. There is also daily practicality, the GT-R is a more practical daily driver, it has a real large trunk, has 2 extra seats, and the AWD system allows you to use the car in almost any conditions. They are virtually the same price within a couple grand. But as a bang for your buck car, the GT-R wins hands down

the gt-r, driven to the limit, wouldn't beat a Z06, driven to the limit, on equal tires and equal alignment. There isn't anything THAT magical about the AWD system et al. Lower power/weight ratio = faster braking time = faster straightaway speeds, wider rubber = (tires equal) better cornering G loads, leaving the GT-R with power out of corners (definitely not a Z06 strength) which just won't be enough to make up for the power/weight.

What GM trails Nissan in, badly, is marketing.

W0o0dy are you seriously saying the Z06 is not comfortable and harsh for normal driving? Have you ever been in one? The magazines lie. The Z06 is actually really comfortable.

GTR beats ZO6 on a Track.
Z06 smokes R35 on a Straight Line.
Z06 looks much Better.
Z06 is more fun to drive.
Z06 is more reliable.
Z06 is actually a cheaper car.

Z06 is better.

The Z06's ride is a little too harsh for normal driving conditions and that makes it less useable than the GT-R.

When you want to go away for a weekend or go shopping the GT-R will do all you ask of it and has a boot that is useable too. The GT-R is the best allrounder that can really rip up a track and beat pretty much anything out there and drive home quite relaxing with a stereo you can actually hear.

There not equal in a straightline..who are you kidding!

R35 smokes ZO6 on a Track.
ZO6 smokes R35 on a StraightLine.

R35 is more Comfortable.
ZO6 looks much Better.

the zo-6 is fast,but not confortable like gt-r is on the real world.in strait line they are equal,but the gt-r is much faster on the track and more confortable than the zo-6.gt-r is safer in a crash too ,so gt-r wins

lol the gt-r is the lowest model but nowadays a z06 will set you back about half as much if you get it used (and there isnt much to lose used :)
