if you put 10 drivers in car car, you have 10 diferent times, and on a very long circuit the diference its big.

Kudos to Sport Auto for being one of the very few (or the only?) independents that dare doing Nurburgring testing.

Let's not forget, setting a fast lap at Nurburgring is far more risky and expensive than setting a fast lap in a 1.5 minute GP circuit with 50 meter runoff areas. Nurburgring is dangerous, and it is often only the carmakers themselves, with their own test drivers, who dare to take on this track in a full time attack mode with a 600 hp car.

"because Sport Auto is independent media organisation, with no obvious conflict of interest."

bwhahahahahah....is this an obvious enough laughter?

Interesting to see how the efforts from manufacture creates the difference in terms of laptimes. It's like Lamborghini used cars that are optimised better than this car given to an independent journalist.

For reference, same driver did a
7:10.92 for the AMG GTR
7:05 for the 991.2 GT3 RS
and
6:58 for the GT2 RS

Now all we need to see is the SVJ do a lap in his hands for a proper verdict

Great lap, 2 problems though, Althought not really problems though-_-, But, 1, The AMG GTR and Z06 laptimes were much more impressive, 2, This lap is no where near as important as th 6:52 it set.
