the funny thing is, mclaren didn't cheat nor did they add a xxxl size fish tank in the trunk to gain extra power, while the germ(an) driver couldn't go all out or even push at 8/10 to get the best time out of the 720s, because the car felt too dangerous, wrong tires and his life means a lot to him than just a lap time that will be published in a magazine named after the test driver spoofed auto.

nothing new with this dog$hit magazine that only knows how to suck vw's nuts blindfolded or without a test that usually gives out 100 pts or somewhere between 95 - 99 pts.

Very respectable lap. If we factor the ~10-12s difference between a factory lap and a magazine lap, as well as the ~10s for trofeo Rs, that would put the laptime 6:46-6:48

"The fact is, despite the numerous "conservative" lines taken by Mr Gebhardt, this is still a very fast time considering the corsa tyres."

gebhardt is following the footsteps of von saurma...720s laptime is just 2 seconds lower than amg gt-r, when motorsport mag was almost 4 seconds quicker in a 1.50 min laptime (magny cours gp). with Pista
sportauto even outdid themselves...almost 5 seconds per minute
ballast/sandbag compared to motorsport mag/autovisie...the sky is the limit! Germans are absolutely terrified by ferrari, their worst nightmare lol

What is most amusing about this video is the comment section already in flames. It is awash with porsche fanboys downplaying the time like it was an affront to their dignity. Even i didnt think it would escalate quite this rapidly.

The fact is, despite the numerous "conservative" lines taken by Mr Gebhardt, this is still a very fast time considering the corsa tyres.
It matches the Performante which is on trofeo Rs and is only 10 seconds off the GT2rs's time on the hyper sticky Cup 2 Rs.
