I love cars  4y ago

Results from these first tests are meaningless because teams were not searching the pure performance, but yes, at this moment in time the Ferrari is clearly the best overall car.
And mind that this is a total different situation compared to last year pre-season testing, where yes, the Ferrari was fast but it was with low fuel, super soft tyres and time-attack mode, so basically it was just smoke in the eyes.

Of course everything could change since we are not even at the beginning, but yes, right now the Ferrari proved to be the best car.

wow... the Ferrari really is faster than the Merc at this time... in these conditions, both the time sheets and visually. I would really like to see Ferrari finally win one again this year

I wouldn't mind Red Bull to be an actual car manufacturer, I'd be interesting. N cmon man wtf are my flying cars? It's been like 60 years since they said we would have them.

I bet Merc and RB are sand bagging as usual. Ferrari should be faster than RB ultimately, and given the Renault engine's lack or reliability, it can only be a fight between Ferrari and Merc.

Haas look pretty strong too, and they also use a Ferrari engine.

Take winter testing laptimes with a grain of salt. A big chunk of salt. Teams are known to test with sub-optimal setups and even sand-bag on purpose.

it's going to be another poor year for Mclaren

McLaren can't afford another year like 2015 and first half of 2016. In the latter half last year they started to at least get points consistently and become somewhat of a consistent mid-tier team.

looks like the honda and renault engines still have issues. merc retain their speed and ferrari are making good improvements. based on the results of first test

Ferrari looked strong throughout 2015 and in first half of 2016. Then they slipped, and gave up their "best of the rest" honors to Red Bull.

I'm still waiting for the flying cars

Ferrari look pretty strong this year. Although I think RB can make a faster car, it won't be as reliable unfortunately
