But have we actually got all TG Australia laptimes in our database?

I haven't really followed that show but I know that 5 episodes have already been aired and we have just 7 laptimes in their track. Most of them from initial episode.

Haven't we missed any?

I agree the Aussi Top Gear should not 100% mimic the UK show. It just looks weird when you see all that but no JC, hamster and captian slow. It is like I was trap in a bad dream or something...lol.

I am by no mean saying those are bad hosts, I think we all just need some time to get use to it, thats all. :wink:

Yes, the format is too similar to that of the original TopGear.

And if they wanted everything plus/minus the same then they had to have at least one of the presenters more comedian like and with that arrogance, shamelessness and politically incorrect attitude that Jeremy Clarkson has.

Today's TopGear is more about "chemistry" between those three hosts and not so much about useful information. They (Top Gear Australia) should better take the Fifth Gear approach because copying the charismatic TopGear trio isn't going to be easy.

As far as the lap times go, I have no complaints. :D It's great we have another credible source.

Ah, I actually have a complaint. Why didn't they test the LP560-4 around track? Most likely the VW didn't let them do that. They were already over-excited about just having that thing sitting in the studio. If they did run it around track it would probably beat the GT-R. Because the new Lambo is indeed a faster car. Almost in every track it it beats the GT-R.

nice new track but the show is horror... all looks like TopGear but no Clarkson Hamster and Capt. Slow..that looks soooooooo wrong :shock:
They should have added a little bit more Aussi input to the show not just doing a 1:1 copy
