10 WHY?

Question...why isn't there a US-based track that serves as the benchmark for car performance like the Nurburg Ring? ...or is there?

there's one and the general audience is allowed to participate at any time of the year, whenever hurricane season starts all races and tests are cancelled

Thanks for the feedback! I've got a Pista coming, and a friend who has the fastest lap at Willow in a race car.. 1:17. I'd love to see what he can do w it relative to other pro drivers in production cars.

Actually, many do, but not full blown time attack laps.
GM, Alfa, Porsche, Merc, BMW, Audi, Lambo, even Kia.

Tested for production purposes yes, But not full out fast laps, Not many care for setting ring records anymore of any segment, Compare how many cars took to the ring to get timed for serious laps in 2011 to 2018, Huge difference, Not saying they dont, but not nearly as much, Hence most dont care.
