Okay, I felt compelled to compare these cars since I have owned both of them. The XK8 had thicker leather and prettier lines, but no manual transmission, and it was ridiculously unreliable. With the five speed automatic, it was also much slower than it looked. No problems with the much faster Mustang so far. The six speed manual makes the 5.0 much more entertaining to drive. Still, the Jaguar was pretty, I will have to upload a photo of it sometime.
