I think m5cs could be much faster on Nurb with proper semi-slick tires

Here's the thing, the GT63 S competes with the M8 Competition Gran Coupe, not the M5 CS. I think the reason why these two keep getting compared every so often is because there isn't a CS version of the M8, and the GT63 S is far more track-focused than the M8 Competition. The base GT63 competes with the Alpina B8 with the track capability of an M8 Competition; the GT53 is comparable in handling to the base M8 and overlaps on a dragstrip with the 840i M Sport and the M850i. The GT43 is barely an 840i M Sport competitor, but it still is better than the M850i on the track.

Long gone are the days when BMW was the "sport" brand and Mercedes was the "luxury/muscle" brand. Yesterday's BMW is today's Mercedes-Benz, and today's BMW is yesterday's Mercedes-Benz.

Exceptions apply (up to the mid-range of each brand; M4 more track-focused than C63).

Can someone explain the disparity between the 150-160 times (mph) I’m a bit confused?

Gt63 1/4 mile time is with rollout so it doesn’t count.. and yet the bmw is still faster!
