Mercedes or Aston Martin. I like both, but I don’t really get how the Aston wins. The Aston may accelerate more than a second faster, but the top speeds, 245 kph v.s 261 kph, I think it just comes down to the driver. The Benz would probably win in a drag Race though. Probably a 70% chance. The Aston would take corners better to add more to that comparison (lighter weight).

lol, the Aston is the faster car, no question here. It has 100 hp more!

unless it's a gearing issue

If I could, I'd have both, but I'm leaning towards the Aston Martin.

What an outstanding comparison! The legends of 50-ties. Two absolutely lovely GT vars. But I would prefer the Benz because it looks even more spectacular (those Gullwing doors!), and Benz is a faster machine. Don't know about the track competition though, but my intuition tells me - Benz is the leader.

Mercedes seems to be faster on straight line since it's the fastest car in 1950's alongside with Ferrari 250 Testarossa. However, can it beat Aston Martin on tracks?
