@ Elise racer: Speed isn't everything. Everyone has their preferences.

When optioned correctly, M5's top speed is 305kph/190mph

"Top speed, of course, will be limited to 155 mph with the option to raise that governor to 190." -

Porsche made a Panamera GTS to compare with Dodge Charger R/T, a Panamera Turbo to compare with Charger SRT8, and a Panamera Turbo S to compare with Cadillac CTS-V.

The Charger SRT8 is no match for the M5/CTS-V/RS7 Sportback/Panamera Turbo S because the SRT8 has 470 horsepower, while the other sedans have more than 500 horsepower!

I'd prefer the Dodge Charger, although the BMW M5 is faster, I like both, but I'm more of a Mopar man. I'm not surprised by the outcome, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S is the only sedan that can outperform the BMW M5 (F10).

Right now the BMW M5 is the fastest mass-produced sedan in America. But the only problem is that the M5 and E63 AMG are limited to 155 mph, so in a long race, the new Dodge Charger/Chrysler 300 SRT8 will beat them. And the Ferrari FF (although it only has two doors), the Cadillac CTS-V, and the Porsche Panamera Turbo S are the fastest.
