The 7:58min laptime was a wrong claim by Zonda... the laptime is deleted
All Viper models failed EVERYTIME a europen car magazine tested their topspeed.. no matter if GTS or SRT-10
the topspeed is the result of a Nardo highspeed test were the SRT-10 failed to reach factory claimed 306km/h clearly with 298km/h... and that with unlimited miles to get the maximum possible out of the car...

And dude, The top speed of the SRT is 196mph, not 189mph, and the 500bhp Viper does the Ring in 7:58, so why would this one be slower? and that Mile time Is faster contrary to what R&T had done. AND, that 171mph trap speed of the GTS is a lil strange, consider the 997 GT2 passes at 177mpn, its believable, but kinda strange no?

Yeah, and thats total bullshite, the SRT-10 is faster in every way, so dont think its not.

viper gts reached 171 miles in 1 mile drag race.(motortrend 1998)
