In YouTube exist idiots posting fake videos showing Mercedes is faster.
So its necessary compare.
OK, but Alfa is 310kg heavier. Imagine Giulietta or the 4C with this motor. No chance for Mercedes.

Putting a bigger, nicer, more powerful engine doesn't always make the car better. Inline 4 is lighter and lightness is one of the magic properties of 4C. If 4C engine is transverse and QV V6 is longitudinal, it would not be possible at all.

I agree the weight of the engine is a disadvantage added for the 4C if it was put, but you can't deny that it would definitely make it sound better
