Both have a great linearity in acceleration. DBS. DBS Superlegg
0-30 2.0. 1.7. est
0-60 4.2. 3.2
0-100 8.6. 6.4
This due to the old DBS having hard tires and a slightly stiff manual whilst the new one has a fast auto slower than a dct with rear tires handling 500 lbs/foot from 1000 rpm and 660 from 1800 rpm.The R8,Lamborghini and Porsche launch you much harder but then only match or are slower than the Aston except for 918 or GT2 RS. The test DBS that got 8.6 to 100 and sub 13 0-125 was particulary light . 8.8-9.0-100 was more common with a 13.1-13.3 0-125 much like V8 db11. The bloated Carbon Black edition was similar to 60 but 9.5-9.7 0-100.It got nearly .1 g less on the skidpad than classic manual DBS for Car and Driver.....0.98 g vs a sub LC500 .90 g for Carbon Black.
