Strange comparison. The Cayman S has almost 100 bhp more than the 4C. Of course it is faster.

Cayman s is the winner

No way: Alfa Romeo all life long.

No way!  9y ago

Just a pity that 2013 Cayman s time at Ring it's just a 'rumor' blurt by Rohrl to a minor car webzine, while 4C time is proudly official (and with video also...). It's somehow ridiculous that such 'fancy' (false?!?) time are used from fastestlaps for car comparison... And what about including also Variano times into comparison?

It does not mind which is faster...

GIVE ME THE ALFA!

We won't know for sure until some magazines do some lap times for the Alfa. Too early to tell, and I suspect it will also depend on the track. On a big track like VIR, I think the Porsche will win, but on a shorter tighter track the Alpha could win. Too soon to tell, gotta wait for lap times.

Porsche would kill alfa romeo, no doubt about this. Porsche is always a Porsche. Alfa is a good car, but's light years away from Porsche.

@ BR2': Yeah, my money would be on the Porsche.

...That Alfa Would get Killed...

@ Mental: The race would be close, but I'd be really surprised if the Alpha could beat the Porsche.

@Shaggy
The verdict is simply based on power to weight ratio. And the comparison with detailed performance data and laptimes will give you the actual verdict.

Hamcee  9y ago

i doubt that the alpha will have any chance vs the cayman.

WHAT THE HECK?!, a 4 cylinder Alpha Romeo beat a Porsche Cayman S?! That's one fast little Alpha.
