If the Aventador had RWD it would absolutely dethrone the 12C... (AWD adds weight and mechanical losses)

The Aventador was not built with RWD in mind. It's difficult enough for it to put down the power thru 4 wheels, let alone 2. The gearbox is way too choppy, and causes the car's weight to stutter back and forth, causing way too much loss in grip from 0-130kph. The Revuelto has solved most of that with the DCT and electric torque fill.
