P.S. TT-RS is on my short list for replacing the M3

@wads you will always find dealer giving you lower price than list price, we can fairly compare only the factory price...
The TT-RS is fully loaded without Nav System but with a lot options to replace everything with even more expansive options... like more expansive seats, more expansive HiFi system, more expansive wheel option, more expansive leather etc..

The UK prices vary a lot.... I could get an M3 for £48k but the best price on the TT-RS I\'ve seen is £45k. I don\'t know how well equiped the TT is but the M3 comes with most things I\'d want (I didn\'t add anything to mine) adding a few Audi options could narrow the price gap even more.
P.S. TT-RS is on my short list for replacing the M3

according to the Audi and BMW hp UK the TT-RS is much less than your claimed £3k
base price according to uk homepage of Audi and BMW
TT-RS £45,810
M3 Coupe £ 53,275
the TT RS is £7,465 or 8,800Euro or $11,500 cheaper than a M3 Coupe in the UK.
The different in Germany is even bigger
TT-RS 56,150Euro
M3 Coupe 68,750Euro
In Germany the TT-RS is 12,600Euro or £10,700 or $16,500 cheaper

They are similar price so similar performance seems fair...
... especially when they are in similar color and photographed from a similar angle :D
