When mercedes with Juan manual fangio won the 1955 formula 1 world championship with a mercedes benz car, bmw launches the micro car isseta.
When mercedes benz has won 7 of the latest 10 fórmula 1 championships, bmw remember the last time when they won something important in motorsport. Since 1999 bmw didnt win any big tournament or championship ( Víctory in Lemans in 1999 ( i meaning f1, le mans, wrc, or 500 miles indianapolis) .
Definitly there are different status, and mercedes is two or three steps ahead than bmw.
