In middle April will come the Sport auto mit the supertest with R8 v10 plus. At that time the Nurburgring laptime for R8 v10 plus will be announced. Hopfully it can be quicker than R8 GT(7:34).

@ CoolShirtGuy & Hans: Oh ok, they seem so much alike, I notice the slight aerodynamic aids on the R8 GT. Also if I'm correct, the R8 GT tops out at 199 MPH, the R8 V10, over 200 MPH.

@ Mental: That would be awesome, but then Lamborghini would have to build a 600 horsepower Gallardo, the Gallardo and the R8 have the same engine.

I really wish there will be new facelifted R8 GT with 600 horses.

@Shaggy
In addition to what Hans said, the R8 GT also has some aerodynamic tweaks(front splitter, fixed wing out back)and, perhaps most importantly for track performance, rides on Pirelli PZero Corsa R-Compound tires as standard equipment.

Not the same. R8 GT is lighter, more powerful doesn't have double clutch gearbox.

This doesn't surprise me, the R8 V10 and R8 GT are practically the same car, the GT version is sold in America.

The 1/2-mile trap speed for the R8 GT looks weirdly high, 22mph higher than for the R8 V10 Plus...

151mph is more accurate?
