The times for the Cuda are NONSENSE. The 440 4bbl went high 13"s......Two different car mags back in the day had the Hemi Cuda between 13.1 and 13.3..........A good friend of mine bought a 4 speed LS6 Chevelle. I have no idea how it could go low 13's absolutely stock...Whenever he let the clutch go from a stop the rear of the car had such horrible wheel hop, the dirt / mud would shake out of the rear quarter panels. He eventually tore the rear U joint out and twisted the driveshaft. It took almost 6 months to get another one from G.M....He redid the rear suspension and added traction bars before he drove it again......That 454 WAS a BEAST !

Funny but you also show a comparison between a '70 Chevelle 454 and an '70 LS6 454 and they are running 0 to 60 in 6.1 second's and the quarter-mile in 13.9 which is slow in comparison to the 'cuda number's posted here. Also, 117 top end for the 'cuda? You should improve your research. Back in late '69 Car Craft ran the quarter mile in 13.1 in a Hemi 'cuda. A mopar Hemi earned it's legendary status by winning stock car races and destroying it's competion at sanctioned drag event's from coast to coast. Chevelle earned it's rep by being a, well Chevrolet. I'll take the 'cuda.
