You might think that the Z06 is a 600LT (in standard guise) / 620R (in Z07 guise) competitor, or an Artura competitor; but don't let the horsepower ratings fool you. Horsepower's not everything for a supercar; these aren't muscle cars or grand tourers.
Actually in terms of dynamics, the Z06 is much closer to the 765LT. Guess what? The old Viper ACR dominated the track with barely even moderate supercar horsepower, AND a stick-shift. Imagine if the ACR had a dual-clutch like the GT2 RS or the 765LT; it would be very, very close to it on the track. The Huracan STO has managed to beat the 620R and 488 Pista despite making much less low-end torque and barely more horsepower than claimed. (620R and 488P are 700+hp).
For the first time ever, I am revealing my Instagram profile. But this is a comparison between the Z06 and the 765LT.
